10 Must-haves for Ireland
Hello, Y'all!
This is one of many posts I will be making about our Ireland trip. We absolutely loved Ireland! The country side is just gorgeous. We were very fortunate that the weather was nice while we were there because we were visiting at the beginning of November. You just never know what to expect that time of year, but we were glad we went off-season. Please put any comments below on videos you would like to see on Ireland!
1. Travel Backpack: We bought this backpack because it had so many different places to store things. It was also waterproof. A few things did get we while we were in Dublin, but it was also pouring rain. I think some rain had seeped in through the zipper opening. Even though we had that catastrophe, we loved this bag! It is very comfortable to wear and easy to use. Definitely will use on our next trip!
2. Folder for Important Paperwork: I would recommend having a folder for your itinerary, important documents, address, and etc. Make sure to make a copy of your passports. This will help if you lose them while traveling.
3. Portable Charger: It is always a good idea to have a portable charger while traveling. You will be using up a lot of your phone battery taking pictures. This was nice, especially when walking around Dublin.
4. Travel Money Belt: This was helpful when traveling through the airport. I hate having to carry a purse when we are hauling luggage around. This was super easy and simple to use.
5. Adapters/Converter: This is the one item you do not want to forget. The plug-ins are different than in the US so you will need an adapter. Another trick is to bring in an outlet strip with so you can plug in multiple things to one adapter.
6. Sunglasses: Even though it will be cloudy part of the day, you will still need sunglasses. Once the sun comes out, its impossible to see!
7. Umbrella: This is another must-have item due to the climate on the island. I would definitely not leave without one of these.
8. Water-proof Jacket: We used our rain-proof jackets everywhere. I would recommend getting a thicker one if you are going closer to winter weather season. Ours worked perfectly because it was in the 50s the entire time we were there.
9. Water-proof Boots: I decided on buying Sperry boots prior to leaving. I loved them! I never had wet socks. You can also buy any sort of rain boots that are water proof. My husband used his hiking books.
10. Camera (I forgot to add into video because I was using it! lol): Make sure to not forget a nice camera. We brought ours with even though our phones capture nice photos. It's nice to have come home with some good quality photos that you can maybe use as gifts!
We hope you enjoy this post! Please leave any comments or questions below!
Love,
J&M

But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15
