Pressure Washer Tips and Tricks

Good evening,

Its been a few weeks since my last post. Unfortunately, life has gotten a little hectic getting ready for the wedding. After much deliberation, we decided to finally buy a pressure washer. It was the best decision we have made yet. Since we were complete beginner to pressure washing, I wanted to give some tips to others who are new to it as well.

1. I would recommend buying an electric pressure washer. Electric pressure washers are easier to use than gas pressure washers, so I would recommend getting an electric pressure washer if you are a beginner. Gas pressure washers can get hot very quickly, so you have to ensure you don't place it near vinyl siding. The pressure washer which we decided to buy was the Sun Joe SPX3000 Pressure Joe 2030 PSI 1.76 GPM 14.5-Amp Electric Pressure Washer on Amazon. Even though the pressure washer is small, it had more than enough power to do all the projects we needed to do around our house.

2. Prior to starting, I would recommend ensuring you have the correct nozzle for the project that you are doing.  The guide below will help you to determine which nozzle to use for each project.

3. I would recommend testing the nozzle on the surface prior to starting. This will help to ensure that it isn't too much or too little pressure for the surface.

4. I would recommend buying actual pressure washer soap rather than using dish soap or anything else. Pressure washer soap is designed to work with the system without it clogging up. The soap recommended for the SunJoe pressure washer is Sun Joe SPX-HDC1G House and Deck All-Purpose Pressure Washer Rated Concentrated Cleaner on Amazon.

5. Last but not least,  I would recommend taking your time as you pressure washer to make sure you don't miss spots.
