Good evening all,
- 1 can of spray paint (color of choice)
- Solar Lights
- Old Chandelier
- Epoxy Glue
- Wash rag/Soap
Steps:
1. Find an old chandelier either from a thrift store, garage sale, or attic space. If your house was built in the 80's like mine, you will have a ton of extra brass fixtures!

2. Remove all the electrical wires by cutting them off with wire cutter. I was able to just screw the candle lights right off.
3. Wash the chandelier with dawn soap and rag. Make sure to dry it fully before spray painting.
4. Spray paint the entire chandelier with spray paint. I choose the Rust-Oleum Light Turquoise Spray Paint for this project. Make sure to do lighter coats of paint. With heavier coats, the paint tends to drip. I had to do about 4 different coats while laying the chandelier different ways.
5. Remove the bottom portion of the solar lights so you only have the tops of it. I found the easiest solar lights to use are the $1 ones from Walmart. Now you will need to glue the bottom of the solar powered lights to the chandelier. I would recommend epoxy glue. It may take a while to dry but its hold forever. You can find a good brand of Epoxy Glue on Amazon. Just click on the Epoxy Glue for the link.
6. Now you can find a spot to hang your new outdoor chandelier!
